A sea of people facing the Pacific Ocean, Panama's coastal belt vibrated with a message of faith and transformation during the Palau Festival. Andrew Palau, son of late renowned Argentine evangelist Luis Palau, and his wife Wendy led this event that captivated thousands of people with a message of hope.

During his visit, Palau had the opportunity to meet with the President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo Cohen. Although the protocol of the meeting was to discuss the situation of society and government in the country, Palau and Cortizo spoke privately as well. During the discussion, Palau shared the reason for his visit and talked about his testimony of personal transformation. Palau also had the chance to meet with the Vice President of the Nation, José Gabriel Carrizo Jaén, during a special dinner for professionals and businessmen at the Panama Convention Center.

During his visit, the evangelist was welcomed by the Governor of the Province of Panama, Mrs. Carla Garcia, with whom he had a private conversation. Later, the official invited some of her colleagues to join them, so that Palau could pray for them. The preacher also paid a visit to the National Congress. His final meeting was with the Secretary General of the Mayor's Office of Panama City, Mr. Jorge Lopez, who presented Palau with the "Key to the City" on behalf of José Luis Fábrega Polleri, Mayor of Panama City.

Wendy and Andres Palau traveled to various locations including prisons, immigration detention centers, churches, and a police training academy. During their trip, they met with pastors, businessmen, professionals, and prominent women from the community. In each of these settings, they both shared a message of hope based on Scripture and personal experiences. They demonstrated, in a practical way, what God can do when a person chooses to surrender their lives to Him.

Two days of good music and good news!

For at least two months, the appearance of the coastal belt changed as a hot air balloon announced the Palau Festival. Towards the end of February, a metallic mega-structure was erected in front of the Seafood Market to serve as a stage for national and international artists. They were the stars of a top-quality professional show that accompanied Andrés Palau on March 1 and 2.

Palau delivered a message of faith and hope that inspired thousands of people to seek spiritual transformation in their lives. With a clear, simple, and straightforward speech, he reiterated the message of "God loves you!" and explained that regardless of a person's situation, God is always willing to provide them with a fresh start.

The event was a grand celebration with lights, smoke, fire, laser, drones, and music, all coming together to create an experience for people with different tastes in music. The event ran for an average of 5 hours each night and attracted spectators from various nearby and far-off places. On the day of the event, there were fun and games for children with activities tailored to their age group, all with the message of hope. The event was a memorable time for all who attended.

In addition, several tents were set up to provide medical and psychological care, clothing donations, health information centers, mobile showers for the homeless, free haircuts, and food for low-income families. All these services were offered in one location, with the same aim of serving the community.
