
Bitwise Technologies and the Universidad Evangélica de El Salvador (UEES) have signed a cooperation agreement to strengthen education in blockchain and emerging technologies in the country. The alliance aims to equip students with the tools and knowledge necessary to enter a rapidly evolving technology market.
The agreement includes training programs on topics such as smart contracts, decentralized finance, and blockchain applications, as well as teacher training and joint research development.
According to representatives of Bitwise Technologies, the initiative addresses the growing demand for professionals skilled in blockchain technology and its impact on various economic sectors. “We want students not only to understand the potential of this technology but also to apply it in innovative solutions for the country,” the company stated.
UEES authorities emphasized the importance of the alliance in expanding academic offerings in technological fields and providing opportunities for young people. “This agreement reinforces our commitment to quality education and the training of professionals prepared for future challenges,” they said.
El Salvador has been a leader in the adoption of Bitcoin as legal tender, as well as in decentralized technologies. With initiatives like this, the country seeks to continue to advance in developing local talent for the global technology industry.
