The Festival Palau Santo Domingo 2025 brought together thousands of people over two days filled with music, testimonies, and solidarity, becoming a great celebration of faith and hope in the Dominican capital.

Despite the rain forecast for the first day, the afternoon began with threatening clouds, but the event ultimately took place under a calm night with a full moon. The opening was led by presenters Eva Piccini and Kike Pavón, who welcomed the audience. Music took center stage with Dominican artist Jameson Ramírez, followed by Kike Pavón and Dream Team DR, who energized the crowd.

The event continued with DJPV, featuring music, lasers, smoke, and a first-rate show. The crowd erupted in joy once again and jumped to the rhythm set by the Brazilian artist. The music captivated people of all ages. Later, it was time for Redimi2 — the most eagerly awaited artist. The entire audience vibrated with each song performed by the Dominican, who is now gaining international recognition with his music.

One of the most moving moments of the night came when Andrew Palau shared his testimony and a message about faith in Christ. “You were never created to be alone. And when you decide to receive Jesus into your heart, the Bible says that God makes you His child, and you will never be alone again,” he said. He then shared how God rescued him from a purposeless life marked by drugs and alcohol.

“At the age of 27, I realized that everything I did for fun wasn’t good for me. I felt ashamed of my life,” he confessed to the crowd. His testimony led many people to decide to give their lives to Jesus, creating a moment of deep spirituality.

The festival also had a strong social component with the solidarity fair, where more than 60 health professionals provided medical and dental care to those in need. Additionally, haircuts and beauty services were offered, along with the distribution of clothes, medicines, and psychological care. In total, 4,500 people benefited from this initiative. Meanwhile, in the children's area, 6,500 children enjoyed games, recreational activities, and Bible teachings in an atmosphere of joy and fun.

The second and final day began with performances by artists such as Jameson Ramírez, Dream Team DR, and Jossie Esteban. An unexpected downpour forced the event to pause temporarily, but far from being discouraged, many attendees remained steadfast. In response, the production team improvised a piano set on stage, and worship leader Ingrid Rosario led a moving moment of praise in the rain.

During the day, Mayor Dio Astacio took the stage to express his gratitude for the festival’s impact and symbolically handed the key to the city to Andrew Palau. “With this key, we symbolize that Santo Domingo Este is a city of God,” declared the mayor and pastor. Palau, for his part, conveyed a special greeting from Juan Luis Guerra, who was unable to attend, and reinforced his message about the importance of faith and family. “The great truth is that God loves you, and without His love, there is no family or foundation for a prosperous nation,” he emphasized.

Andrew, alongside his interpreter Jonatan Proietti, spoke to the crowd about Jesus. He highlighted the importance of family, stating that “it is the foundation of a nation” and assuring them that “they need Jesus” to strengthen that foundation. “The great truth is that God loves you, and without His love, there is no family or foundation for a prosperous nation,” he repeated.

He invited those present to pray the prayer of faith, while friends of the festival came forward to support and welcome those who decided to give their lives to Jesus. Although the rain had eased slightly, it continued, but the people remained, eager to be guided in their spiritual decision.

The event concluded with performances by DJPV, Kike Pavón, and Redimi2, who brought the celebration to a powerful close. Beyond the music and spectacle, the festival left a lasting spiritual impact on thousands of attendees.
