Starting today, Tuesday, September 3, Guayaquil will host the Congress of the Ibero-American Confederation of Christian Communicators and Mass Media (COICOM 2024), an event that will bring together more than 1,500 participants at the Christian Center. The event, which will be held until September 5, will feature the participation of 42 international speakers alongside 7 Ecuadorians.

Notable presenters include Alberto Mottesi, known as one of the most influential evangelical speakers in Latin America, and Marcos Brunet, a Brazilian pastor, singer and missionary.

Arnold Enns, CEO of COICOM, emphasized the importance of the event by saying, “COICOM 2024 seeks to train, equip, connect and mobilize the Ibero-American Church to win this generation for Christ.”

The congress will address topics such as transformational evangelism and podcasting trends, among many others. In addition, plenary sessions, workshops, panels, and TedX-style talks will be held simultaneously, offering a comprehensive experience for all attendees.

COICOM, which was held last year in El Salvador with the participation of President Nayib Bukele, has generated great expectations in the evangelical community of Latin America and is recognized as one of the annual key events for evangelical leaders in the region.

Diario Cristiano, Christian Daily International's Spanish edition and one of the sponsors of COICOM 2024, will be reporting directly from Guayaquil.
