He has worked in journalism and copywriting for some 18 years, mostly for Christian media publications in the UK, the US and Australia. He is an English graduate from the University of St Andrews in Scotland where he was President of the St Andrews Literary Society. In his free time, he enjoys writing devotionals and runs his own blog (hislovefrees.life). Chris has traveled extensively, living briefly in South Africa and Belgium, and now resides in South Wales in the UK with his wife and children.

Jude Simion grew up during the civil war in Sri Lanka and migrated to Australia in 2007, where he founded Philoi Global to support refugees, working in 11 countries to date and helping at least 2,000 individuals. “Philoi” means “friend” in Greek and reflects Simion’s vision to walk in friendship with forcibly displaced Christians and minority groups. British comedian Steve Legg dies, gospel-focused entertainer was “the best of men”

A personal tribute has been paid to one of England’s most beloved Christian comedians Steve Legg after he died last night (Sept. 16), following a brave battle against cancer lasting 17 months. Legg died at the age of 57 in the company of his beloved wife Bekah and family at Worthing Hospital, in the south coast town of Worthing in West Sussex, England. The couple have five daughters, one son and one granddaughter.

Survey shows majority of evangelical churches in US offer small groups, but it doesn't always mean the same

Most evangelical Protestant churches in the U.S. use a form of small group as part of weekly activities but latest figures from Lifeway Research suggest the definitions of what that involves differ widely. The results, based on 1,021 adult Bible study group ministry leaders surveyed between May 27 to June 27 (2024), show that 56 percent of respondents see “Sunday School” as the most accurate description of their group’s activity.
