"Diablo" fans have been waiting for another installment of the long-time hit video game, but have not heard anything until news emerged that "Diablo 4" may be announced at Blizzcon 2016.

Players may soon be having an enjoyable holiday season as the next installment of "Diablo" may be released for the festivities. Express UK reported that Blizzard is known to steer away from the mainstream and do things on their own, much like what Nintendo and Rockstar Games are also known for.

However, it seems like the three companies are joining the bandwagon of releasing substantial information to their respective fans this holiday season.

For instance, the anticipated sequel of "Red Dead Redemption" is scheduled to be announced in a couple of days while Nintendo NX may also come out with an announcement at the same period. Both announcements have been rumored and speculated for a long time and their hype has created much anticipation in the gaming industry.

This is no different from "Diablo" fans as they have waited considerably for the game's next installment. Good thing, it seems that "Diablo 4" may grace the Blizzcon 2016.

Blizzard has been using gaming expos to announce some grand news and it seems that it is "Diablo's" turn to be in the limelight. While details of the upcoming title remain scarce, fans believe that its features will eventually be revealed in the near future.

Fans have hoped that "Diablo" expert Bill Roper will return to the game, but he later cleared out the news and tweeted, "Lots of speculation about my coming back to Blizzard to work on the Diablo franchise. Would be an honor but just rumor. Thanks for the love!"

Another rumor emerged claiming that David Brevik will also return to work in the game. This, again, has been cleared out. He reportedly tweeted, "There has been a lot of speculation (and hope), but I'm not working on the Diablo franchise currently or in the near future."
